Managing Email Forwarding and Email Aliases using cPanel

Unlike Plesk, cPanel does not have a built-in email alias management tool. However, there are ways around this so that you can setup email accounts that act as aliases to different accounts. To do this, you will need to setup email forwarding in your cPanel hosting account. We have created a video tutorial taking you through the steps to setup email forwarding for any account on your domain.

Unfortunately, it is a couple extra steps when using it as an alias, but it gets the job done.
