Upcoming cPanel License Changes
cPanel has recently announced another round of price increases for their licenses, on top of the restructured pricing from earlier this year. As a result, we have decided that we will no longer be offering cPanel licenses on new servers. Current ServerMania users with cPanel licenses will be able to continue their work as normal, but they will be informed about their (possible) monthly price increase in the upcoming weeks.
As of January 1st, 2021 cPanel pricing will be as follows:
- Metal Premier License | 1 – 100 Accounts | $34.50/mo
- Cloud Admin License | 1 – 5 Accounts | $13.50/mo
- Cloud Pro License | 6 – 30 Accounts | $19.00/mo
- Cloud Plus License | 31 – 50 Accounts | $27.00/mo
- Cloud Premier License | 51 – 100 Accounts | $34.50/mo
- Additional Accounts for both Metal Premier and Cloud Premier Licenses are billed at $0.175 each
Impact for existing cPanel users
ServerMania clients who currently have cPanel licenses will receive an email from our Billing department, outlining their new monthly costs. These monthly costs will be the same as the new prices set by cPanel, as outlined above.
These changes will be reflected on your monthly bill, starting as of your first renewal date after January 11th, 2021.
Impact on future cPanel users
As of today (December 7th, 2020), ServerMania has stopped offering cPanel licenses as an add-on on newly deployed servers. Licenses will need to be acquired straight through cPanel itself.

During the configuration of your new server you can still select cPanel as your Control Panel and our Technical department will install cPanel on your server during deployment. However no licenses will be included.
